Forums Passionfish is hosting a series of symposiums along the West Coast of North America and Hawaii. Each symposium is part forum, part feast. Forums feature 10 to 12 nationally recognized and locally respected experts in science, business, conservation, aquaculture, fishing, ethics, public policy, international affairs, media, and culinary arts. Their discussion is thought-provoking, not mind-numbing; those in the audience are engaged, not lectured. These dialogues among diverse stakeholders set Passionfish apart: spirited forums skillfully moderated respectful of diverse opinions yet rigorous in the search for common ground. The outcomes will be illuminating conversations. Attending each event are chefs, restaurateurs, hoteliers, caterers, and seafood purveyors, students, those whose professions mirror those of the panelists, and of course, the concerned public. Each person attending a Passionfish forum will leave better understanding their own beliefs and those held by others. Take a read through very supportive comments by our funder from David & Lucile Packard Foundation. PerspectivesOnline Dialogues The Passionfish Perspectives is an online forum discussing the contentious issues surrounding sustainable fishing and seafood. Bimonthly, Passionfish will pose questions to key diverse stakeholders on a timely subject. The responses will be posted in Perspectives. This section will also host live moderated forums. The purpose of Perspectives is to give voice to varying viewpoints on what it means to be "sustainable" and how sustainability can be achieved. The panelists chosen for the online forum may also appear in the Passionfish live events. Iudicello,

"Our job is to make the agony of decision-making so intense that you can escape only by thinking."
